Why does FP2003 change 'index.asp' to 'index.php'

My host supports both asp and php and FP server extentions.

When I publish a plain web without using server extentions, only using
asp-files and htm-files, FP2003 copies the 'index.asp' file to 'index.php' on
my web.

Does anyone know how to change that? I have been looking all over FP help to
find a solution. My host says it is a FP problem. I asked in a user group.
One though it is a host-problem.

In my local library there is a files called 'postinfo.htm'. In this file
there is a parameter called 'DefaultPage'. I have tried to change the value
of that parameter from 'index.php' to 'index.asp'. Doesn't help.
Also, there is a line in the 'structure.cnf' file in the _vti_cnf folder
which has a line involving 'index.php'. I tried to remove that line. Doen't
help

Any ideas ??

That is because your web host has index.php set as the first filename in the default (home page)
document list for your account. You have to contact them to change this.
