Why does FrontPage 2003 add a space in front of form fields when .

For some reason, FP 2003 keeps adding a space in front of my form fields if I
make the field required. And then it keeps doing it everytime the form is
saved. This results in my form fields not being alligned. I have to open the
page in a text editor & remove the spaces to maintain the form's appearance.
Anyone know how to make FP stop doing that? I've used FP since the 95 version
& this is the first time I remember having to deal with this. I'm working on
an ASP site that has hundreds of pages - about 75% are forms...and this
really stinks.

When you apply validation FP inserts webbot code as a comment
- unfortunately it also inserts a   before the webbot if there is nothing but a form field in a table cell
All you can do is create your own JavaScript validation (instead of using the FP one)

Exactly. And it often adds ADDITIONAL spaces every time the page is saved.
I've had fields with as may as 10 inserted. Not very competent WYSIWYG if
you ask me.
