Why does importing a calendar. pst file add 1 hour to appointment.

I export my calendar file from my laptop to my desktop computer. Both
systems have office 2003 and run Windows XP When I do this each appointment
has an hour added to it. 10 am becomes 11 am etc. I note that this can also
happen if exporting to a handheld. The clocks on both are the same. Any
ideas why this occurs will be appreciated. Thank you

Are the Daylight Savings time matching as well? This is the most common
cause for the hour shift.

Thanks Milly, I cannot find out until I am back at work on Monday when I
shall do another export, but I did notice that the Adjust for Daylight
savings time was not checked on the laptop. When I did this it corrected the
clock which I needed to set back 1 hour. I suspect you have found my
problem. Thanks to you and DL for your help Cheers Paul
