Why does it take 30 secs to insert a file to an e mail?

When I type out an e mail and try to inset a file, I click on the paperclip
to insert the file. The window comes up look in: I click the down arrow to
find all my folders. Once the down arrow is hit, it takes 30 seconds for the
next drop down menu.

If you have any disconnected mapped network drives, either unmap them or
reconnect them prior to browsing for the file to insert.
