Why does Microsoft Word 2007 crash when I close it?

I am running Microsoft VISTA and installed Microsoft Home ans Student 2007.
Whenever I close WORD I get error and the program restarts again and then it
will let me close it. I shouldn't have to close an app twice? EXCEL, ONE
NOTE and PPOINT work fine.

This is usually caused by an old HP printer driver or incompatible legacy
third party add-in. Test in Safe Mode.

From Start, Run, type in

winword /a

and press enter. Word starts in Safe Mode. Does it close correctly now?
