Why does my appionment reminder stay on 15 mins.

When I send my secatary a appoiment her reminder is set at 2 hours. now when
she sends me and appoiment my reminder is set at 15 min. I have tried
setting my default reminder for 2 hours and that still doesn't seem to help
what should I do next??? (her default reminder is set at 2 hours also)
