Why does my font display smaller than the size it is?

I love OneNote, but it has done something odd to me twice now. I originally
had my font size set at 10. Suddenly, one day, for no reason I can figure
out, it was displaying as about an 8. The font size bar still insisted it
was 10, but it doesn't show that way. So I changed the font size to 12 since
I couldn't figure out how to reverse whatever had happened. A few months
later, my 12 is now displaying as an 8. So now I'm up to a 14, which is
presently displaying as a 10. What happened & how do I change it back? My
SideNotes are virtually unreadable now, as they display in about a 6 & I
can't find a font size control for it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible you have changed the zoom level for your pages?

That would be consistent with what I'm observing. I guess I haven't looked
enough - I haven't seen anything about a zoom function. I just looked again.
Can you tell me where to find a zoom control?

That didn't work, but CTRL+ALT++ (the plus sign) did it! Minus made it
smaller. MAHALO!!

or you can use the control key and the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
