Why does my form not post after I move it to a subweb?

I created a form in a standard FrontPage Web. The form worked. However, I
then created a folder, copied the form into it and converted the folder in to
a subweb. The form stopped working at this point.

However, forms that I create in the sub web work fine. Forms created
elsewhere and moved to the subweb seem to break. There is no error message.
The only thing that happens when I click submit is an empty form reappears on
the screen. The default confirmation screen does not appear.

I have gone into tools/site settings/database and verified the form
connections. They check out ok.

I am using FrontPage 2003 and Windows XP Pro as my development platform and
I am publishing to a Windows 2000 Server running IIS 5 and FP2002 Server
Extensions (Share point). All the patches have been installed.

I have administrative privileges on the server so I checked the permissions
in the FP Server Extensions Administrator pages. Everything looks fine there.

If the form is connect to a database using FP Database components and you then move the form to a
subweb, it will not work unless you also move the database to the subweb and let FP create and store
it in the fpdb folder under the subweb.

If it is not connected to a DB
The form must write results to the _private folder w/i the subweb (not the root web)
- same applies to custom confirmation pages

Thanks Stefan, Thomas,

I moved the database and everything concerning the form to the sub web. I
even updated the connection using Tools - Settings - Database - Modify. I
verified the connection after this.

Did FP create and move the database into the fpdb folder and create the global.asa file, and the
_fpclass folder as well?
