Why does my hot sync not work with my visor???

[Hand held trouble]

I did not elect to purchase office after the trial period. When I use the hot
sync for my handspring visor, it gets locked up at expense. Help indicates I
have trouble with excell. I'm afraid to experiment...help..aldra

What synching software are you using? What are you trying to sync? If
Office applications, you cannot sync an inactive application. If Outlook,
you should have received an Outlook installation CD with your product.
