Why does my networked PC not install Office 2003 SP1?

On my work PC which is part of a LAN (and running Windows 2000 Professional)
I cannot install the Office 2003 SP1, even though it downloads successfully.
Is there a bug or something that needs to be fixed? Windows Updates seem to
install fine.

Hi;

This could be a permissions issue. Your LAN admin folks may have
prohibited installing certain kinds of software.

Beyond that, hard to say without knowing what the actual error you see
states.
