Why does my pop server get switched to localhost???

D

Dave

When I set up my email accounts I specify a pop server (i.e.
pop.west.cox.net). and it works fine. Next time I use the computer, the pop
server entry has been changed to "localhost" and the user field is switched
to "myusername/pop.west.cox.net". When I press Send/Receive it always times
out. If I switch it back, everything works fine until the next time.

ARGGGGG!

any add-ins that might be doing this? Some antivirus applications or spam
filters etc can interfere with email settings.
