Why does my word close on it's own

When I open two word documents and start switching between. They shut down.
Someone please help me I'm going mad.

"WD: Word Quits Unexpectedly When Selecting a Document from the Windows
Taskbar". If that's not it, please write back with a better description
of the problem and what versions of Word and Windows you have.
