Why does Office 2007 requires Office 2003 SP3?

Hi,
I'm setting up my new machine with Vista Business & Office 2007. While
updating both online I noticed that Windows Update recommends me to download
and install SP3 for Office 2003 although I don't have any previous copy of
Office 2003 on this new machine. I do, however, have many old 2003 documents.

Should I install 2003 SP3 regardless of the fact that I don't have Office
2003?

If you check add/remove programs, you probably have the Office 2003 web
components listed. If this is the case, then this is why you are being
offered SP3 for Office 2003 and yes, apply it.

You are absolutly right!!
No idea where this web component 2003 thing came from?!
