Why does one section of my MS OneNote consistently shut down?

I am having difficulty with one section my MS OneNote. Is there a limit on
the information that a section can contain?

None that I've ever seen. When you say "Shut down" what does that mean
specifically? Does the program actually close? Does it give you an error
message?

Sorry about that, I wasn't sure how much information to include...

On this particular section whenever I try to do anything with the pages,
this error message pops up, "OneNote has encountered a problem and cannot
complete this operation." The background turns blue and there is a red
circle surrounding an exclamation point and then "An unknown error occured
while opening this section."

I was thinking that there was just too much information in the section and
that if I could switch some things over to a different section I could fix
it...so far that has not been the case.

Thank you for any and all help!

Nikki :)
