Why does Outlook 2002 keep crashing?

I'm using Office XP Professional on an HP computer using Windows XP Media
Edition. Ever since I got this computer and loaded it on, Outlook keeps
crashing. I also can't get the "to" button in new EMs to recognize the
contacts folder. In addition, my whole system's fonts are not behaving
properly. Help!

Is Windows XP Media Center 64 bit?

How does Outlook crash? Freezes? Closes? Returns an error?

Fonts are cheeky. How are yours 'not behaving'?
