I know *why* Outlook 2003 interfaces in with instant messaging and how to
turn it off, but I don't mind it working that way. But why does it try and
open both Windows Messenger and MSN messenger at the same time? It succeeds
in opening Windows Messenger but fails with MSN Messenger. I'm not surprised
as you can only be logged in at once to .NET passport.
I *uninstalled* Windows Messenger from Add/Remove Windows Components in the
control panel but whilst it's currently unchecked, it certainly hasn't
disappeared from the system The icon on the start menu is probably all
that was disappeared.
Not critical just annoying. I can always turn Outlook 2003 integration with
MSN Messenger off but if it's supposed to work, I'd like to actually get it
working
Cheers, Rob.
