Why does Outlook need to be reinstalled repeatedly?

My Outlook program is constantly installing updates and requires me to
reinstall the program with the original CD.

Upon the intial installation, there is an option to install the entire
Office suite to your hard drive. You probably choose "typical" over "full"
or something like that. If you uninstall it then reinstall it, choose
"full" installation. It will install all the files you need.
