Why does outlook today data appear briefly and then disappear?

Everytime I load outlook beta, i have outlook today setup to start. The data
that should be displayed is flashed on the screen (calender, mail, to do list
info) for a a second and then vanishes. I can't seem to get it to stay on the
outlook today display screen. I've gone through the customize settings and
everything seems right.
please help

Have you used the Office Diagnostics option?
