I am trying to design a web page using the Voyages Services Web Site. It
looks great in the design screen, but if I preview it or use IE 6.0 to view
the HTML everyting is out of align, gaps, text over top of each other...

What's the deal?

Try running the Design Checker under Tools, and see that tell you anything.
If you have posted the site, what is the URL?

I did run the check and it only said there is space below the top margin. If
I look at the web in print preview it looks fine, but when I web preview, no
go. This was not set up as a print job but a web job using the wizard.

It is not posted because I don't want it up looking like that. It looks
like a resolution issue. I tried changing the res on the screen no
difference.

I downloaded the files to another laptop that has a standard screen (not a
wide screen) with the resolution of 1024x768 and the web page looks fine. I
guess it has to do with using a wide screen computer that publisher does not
adjust for. On the other machine the web looks exactly as in design mode on
my wide screen laptop. So I am assuming, when I publish the web, anyone with
a wide screen will see the site distorted. I don't know why there isn't any
automatic scaling that goes on.

I am not sure I can explain, but Publisher produces static pages, and the
images are produced at 96 dpi. Try right clicking the display on the wide
screen computer > Properties > Settings > Advanced > and change the DPI
setting for 96 DPI. And yes, I imagine you are correct, that if a person
viewing the site has their display set at 120 dpi, the page may not look
right.
