Why does redaction appear a million times when I right-click in wo

I installed the redaction download that was made available by Microsoft a
couple months ago. It never worked in the first place [I run MS Office 2003
Professional on XP Pro]. It really annoyed me because whenever I would
right-click in MS Word [also when composing mail in Outlook], "Redaction"
would appear 14 times in the right-click menu. I have since uninstalled the
download the proper way via add/remove programs, and it's still there. Here's
a link to a screenshot:

I'm guessing I'm going to have to manually go into the registry or something
like that.... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The add-in was poorly written. Now that you've uninstalled it, you can clean
up after it. Open Tools | Customize and use the mouse to drag all the
extraneous commands off the menus.

I deleted the redaction toolbar, but removing redaction from any right-click
menu is not an option that you can customize, so the problem is still
there.... I looked through every nook and cranny of that "customize" window
and restarted MS Word. I noticed that when I changed the settings and removed
the toolbar, MS Word prompted me to save the changes I had made to the file
"normal.dot" - I went to save the file, but then Word informed me that the
file is read-only.... should I change the attributes of that file so that it
is no longer read-only, and then save again [I don't think that has much to
do with the right-click menu]. Thanks in advance.

Shortcut menus can absolutely be customized. In Tools | Customize, select
the Toolbars tab and check the box for Shortcut Menus. Then, from the
toolbar that appears, select each menu in turn and drag the offending
item(s) off. This will be tedious but effective, provided you make sure that
Normal.dot gets saved.
