Who here knows why the database file size grows?

It starts out at 19 MB and then grows to over 400 MB !

Is it because of recordset objects?

Have you tried Tools->Database Utilities->Compact and Repair Database...?
There are lots of reasons why this is happening. Can you offer more clues as
to when this happens?

Basically, anytime you run an Access database it creates things in storage.
Even if those things get deleted, they don't actually go away, they just get
marked 'unused' so storage continually gets taken up. The only way to 'tidy
things up' is to run a compact and repair. You can also set an attribute to
'compact and repair on close' so this happens automatically each time you
close the database.
