Two reasons that could occur
#1 - The default for FullName order was different when the contacts were
created
#2 - The actual details are not in the correct fields - i.e. one contact
correctly has the First name in the FirstName field and last name in the
LastName portion of the FullName whereas the other has the complete name in
either the FirstName or LastName fields something that can occur when the
details are not entered into the specific FullName components - in other
words, the contacts name is entered into FullName field and Outlook has to
parse it instead of clicking on the FullName button and entering the
inidividual details in the specific fields that comprise the full name
