Why does the letter "C" randomly appear when I print?

I work in a restaurant and have created a floor chart using Publisher. I used
rectangles for tables and little circles to represent chairs. For some reason
when I go to Print, or even Print Preview, the letter C shows up next to some
of the cirles. It does not show up when I edit the page, only when I print.
How do I get rid of these???
