Why does the Office Update site think I have a Mac?

I just installed the Service Pack 3 update, and when I did I noticed there
were several other required updates once I had that. When I went back to the
Office Update site and clicked on "Check for Updates," the site responded
that it did not support Office for Macs. I have a PC. How can I find out
which updates I need?
