Why does the screen reset to the top when typing longer emails?

When typing longer emails I find this exasperating trait in OUTLOOK 2007 that
resets the window I'm typing in back to the top. My cursor remains in the
same place...hence my typing continues as before but I can no longer view
what I'm typing until I scroll down to the bottom. This resetting seems to
occur every minute.
