Why does Windows messenger 4.7 signs itself in automatically?

I keep Outlook 2004 open 100% of the time. It seems to need Windows
Messenger 4.7.

But I never use Windows Messenger 4.7.

Recently I installed MSN Beta on my computer. I removed it in a couple of
days.

Now Windows Messenger 4.7 logs itself in automatically even few minutes.

I don't want it to run at all on this computer.

How do I stop this behavior?
