Why does word and office crash periodically when copying or pasti.

I am running XP Home and Office XP. Word and Excel seem to crash periodically
but especially when copying and pasting or printing. I have done a full
office update but it still crashes. Any ideas?

Also is there anyway of uninstalling works that came loaded with the machine??

Re un-installing Works ... see the un-install program in the Control Panel.

Re the crashing ... odds are this a hardware problem ... faulty or
compatibility of XP with the hardware. If this machine (you imply
this), contact the vendor.
