Why does Word crash when I preview a document?

When I try to preview a document in the "Open File" window, Word now
invariably crashes and has to restart. This just started a week ago. I use
Word 2002 in a Windows XP Media Edition environment. Other views in the open
file window don't crash the program.

Does the problem persist if you select a different default
printer in Windows? If not, then try deleting and reinstalling
the printer driver for your usual printer.
