Why does Word crashes or feezes when I open it?

[Why does Word crashes when I open it?]

For some reason, Word crashes or freezes at the logo screen and when I open
it in safe mode, it crashes/freezes again. I tried to reinstall it and it
didn't work. Then I downloaded an update for it and it still does the same
thing!

It's weird because it just crashes suddenly and I only have this computer
for about 4 months. Please help me. Thank you!
