Why does Word create a Page Break every time I insert a comment

For some strange reason, Word is inserting a page break every place I want to put a comment. I can't get it to stop. Why might this be? Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi Jackanape,

Doesn't happen here, but I'm only in OS 10.4. What exact version have
you updated Office to? (check the Word | About Word dialog)

Exactly what steps do you use to insert the comment? The button on the
reviewing toolbar? Insert | Comment? Shortkey combo? Detail what you
do, step by step, and at what point weirdness happens.

Do you get *both* the comment and a page break, or just the page break?
(If you get both, are there columns in your document, or any other fancy
layout features?)

Does this happen in ALL documents or just this document? Test in a fresh
new document.

I would be a tad suspicious of the settings in your Comment Text style:
particularly have a look and see if it has somehow picked up a "Page Break
Before" setting amongst its Line and Page Break properties.

Hope this helps
