why does word talk about PALMAPP when I close it?

S

sherpaboy

When ever I close word it asks if I want to save changes to PALMAPP. when I
say no it says the macros in this project are disabled. please refer tothe
online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to
enable macros.

How do I get this to go away. Does palmapp have anything to do with a palm
pilot?

Thanks,

Frank.

It almost certainly has to do with Palm Pilot if you've installed such
software. See section 4 of
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm for ideas.

The troubleshooting tips there apply to opening, closing, and using Word.
You have a palmapp.dot add-in in Word's Startup folder. If you're not using
it, remove it.
