Outlook 2003, Version 11.0
XP Professional SP3
In the right corner of the status bar a small section is bordered off for
displaying connection status. The words "Connected" or "Offline" should
appear to show connection status, with a right-click menu. On my work
computer it does - same version of XP Professional and Outlook 2003. On my
home computer this section of the Status Bar is completely blank and when
right-clicking on the mouse, nothing happens. The only thing that shows in my
status bar is the number of emails in the in-box, and any action that may be
ocurring at the time, like "Downloading 15 of 34 messages..." for instance.
The rightmost section of it remains blank. Is there a setting for this
function in Tools/Options that I have been unable to find? The only reference
I find in "Help" is "Show or hide Status Bar".
