Why doesn't Entourage Insert Word or Excel selections

Like Outlook on the PC side? In Outlook, I can copy and paste excel and word documents seamlessly. I can't even copy and paste a simple table from Mac Office 2008 Word or Excel into Entourage. This is beyond disappointing for something that is labeled an office "suite."

Simply put: Entourage is not Outlook for Mac. It was developed
separately. While it has similar features as Outlook, it is not a port
of Outlook to Mac.

The reason you can't copy/paste tables is because Entourage does not
support complex HTML, which allows you to insert tables, embed
hyperlinks, use CSS, etc. It only support simple HTML such as styled text.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature in
future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any
Office application.
