why doesn't installed clip art print out on page?

I am taking a computer class and using the textbook for "Microsoft Office
2007 Windows XP Edition". One of the lessons calls to install clip art, which
I did, and to print preview----everything looked ok----but when it printed
out, the clip art section of the page I printed was blank, even though the
clip art I installed showed in print preview.
