Why doesn't my excel 97 macro work in later versions?

I have a macro (written in Excel 97) that works perfectly using Excel 97, but
does not work on any of the later versions of Excel. The error I am getting
is '5', invalid procedure. The vba script that is highlighted when I debug is
'Application.Run'. The sub on the next line of vba script is in a different
module, but it still had the error when I copied it to the same module.
I need help.
