Why doesn't my WILDCARD work?

OK, if I use -
LIKE "*name*"
it works fine. But when I link to a form -
LIKE "*forms![]![]*"
it doesn't work.

Your help is appreciated.

Are you trying to get it to use the value of a field on a form? If so, the
syntax should look more like:

LIKE "*" & Forms![frmName]![frmField] & "*"

Access won't evaluate any expression that are inside the quotation marks.
