Why doesnt OneNote delete older *.Onetemp files?

Hello!

We use the program in our team with a shared notebook on a network drive.
In the same directory as the *.one files are many *.onetemp files.
I can't understand why there are so many files and older then today.
I would understand it, when there were only files with the actual date
because onenote is handling the multiuser access.
Is the problem that onenote forgets to delete these files?

Thanks
Tom

Isn't there someone who can tell me what to do with these files?
At the moment the notebook files use 1 MB. Including the *.onetemp files in
the same directory I have 12 MB to backup!

You can go ahead and delete the .onetemp files. They can be created in
some cases when storing OneNote notebooks on some NAS devices. You can
find more details in the newsgroup archives. If the problem continues,
you can try contacting the device vendor to check if they have more
recent firmware, which might fix the problem.
