Why doesn't OneNote start in my system tray?

I'm running a OneNote 2007 trial with my Windows XP Home and Office XP
Professional. When I first ran the trial, I believe that OneNote was
installed in the system tray and provided corresponding functionality.
However, the tray no longer has OneNote installed in the tray on reboot and
I've lost the corresponding functionality. Otherwise the trial seems to
functioning normally. Can anyone suggest why and how I might try to
reconfigure OneNote to start in the system tray again?

In OneNote go to <Tools | Options | Other> - there is an option to show
OneNote's icon in the System Tray. Is the option set to "ON"? (even if it was
set, click OK to the dialog as it will reinforce loading of onenotem.exe that
provides the System Tray functionality).

It also might be that Windows just hides OneNote's icon from the tray, in
this case all shortcuts will still work (e.g. WinKey+S for the screen
clipping).
