Why doesn't text "new switchboard command" go away?

I'm on my very first switchboard, and enter text next to the first button in
design mode.

When I go to form view, it reads "New Switchboard Command" instead.

Anyone know how to fix this?

There are several buttons and several text boxes, but only the first one
displays, whether I fill it in or not...

You need to use the Switchboard manager to create/edit a switchboard, as the
viewed text actually comes from a table, not from the form itself.

Tools menu>> Database Utilities>>Switchboard manager.
