Why doesn't the photo gallery show up all the time?

i have a website, and every time i update the photo gallery it doesnt show up
online. all it shows is the text (doubled) then the server location of the
photo gallery, then more text. if i republish it sometimes it will show up
but this is really annoying as it is a business site and i have lost
customers since they cannot see my products. i am also terribly embarrassed
when a customer comes to me and tells me that my photo gallery is unviewable.
why does this happen and how can i stop it?
