Why doesn't the security update for office 2000 recognize my data.

When I try to update my office 2000 small business the security updates will
not install properly. The installation fails when the system looks for the
data1.msi file. It is on my Office cd but it won't recognize it.

Hi Kare,

When the dialog appears asking for the CD look at
the 'use feature from' block to see if the CD being
asked for is a match for the one you're inserting.
Data1.msi is a file name on CD#1 of all of the
Office 2000 series apps/products.
