Why don't I see code writing window in MSE7 when I use infopath?

I want to write some javascript code while making forms in infopath. However
I don't find code writing window whenever I open Microsoft script editor. I
face similar problem whenever I want to customize a sample form. I can't view
sample form's javascript code in script editor. Double-clicking on script.js
(Project Explorer window) also doesn't help.

No. Microsoft script editor is not disabled in the menu (I don't know how to
disable MSE in infopath or any other office application). When I press
Alt+Shift+F11 Script editor opens up but doesn't show code writing window. I
tried to press a few buttons like Run, Debug and it showed "Interface not
registered". What does this mean? How do i register the interface?

hhmm...
Try to reinstall InfoPath (Complete Install).
Which OS are your using? I remember seeing issues with the MSE on Windows
2003 Server.

tried everything - complete reinstall of infopath, office, system
restore...earlier i used to see code writing window. code writing window
still appears for other applications like excel and it shows xml/html code.
but script.js code of infopath form does not appear. i m using windows xp home
