Why don't my rules work any more?

I installed a secondary hard drive and moved all my data to it, including my
pst file. While I can send and receive email, my rules don't work. I have
to open up the Rules Wizard and "Run Now." I keep hoping that eventually my
rules will kick in agan, but they haven't after several attempts. Any ideas
what's wrong and how to fix it?
Thanks.

I suspect that something damaged them when you moved the PST. If you don't
migrate Outlook files correctly, either they or your mail profile can get
damaged. If I were in your shoes, I'd first start by exporting the rules
with the Rules wizard, deleting the rules, creating a new mail profile,
pointing it at your existing PST, starting Outlook with the /cleanrules
command line switch (if your Outlook version supports it. Since you didn't
state your Outlook version, only you can discover that), and importing the
rules again.

rules are tied to the data store location - see if resetting the folder (or
the condition, if you aren't moving them) helps.
