Why flag reminders don't work if message not in INBOX in 2003 ?

Hector

I set a reminder flag for a message in a folder other than
Inbox...for example in Sent Items.

When the time come for the reminder...the message turns
red (as in a past due reminder/item), but it does not come
up in the Reminders window and no alert is provided.

Could I have the settings wrong ? Is this a flaw that still
exists in Outlook 2003 ?

Does someone know ? Please let me know. Thanks !!

By design Outlook will only fire reminders from your default Inbox,
Calendar, Tasks and Contacts folders. It's not a bug, it is done to limit
the number of MAPI restrictions that are placed in the hidden Reminders
folder.

To get reminders from any other folder you'd need to use a 3rd party addin.
