Why has my hyperlink to a PDF file stopped working?

I am using Windows 2000 and Word 2003; I have a Word document in which I have
a hyperlink to open a PDF file in the same directory. The link has stopped
working and the only thing that has changed is that I have upgraded to Adobe
Acrobat Reader 7.0. The hyperlink open the PDF momentarily and then the file
closes. Any fixes?

Not another bug in Acrobat 7! Try Adobe and see if they have an update for
Acrobat 7 out yet. There's certainly plenty of bugs to fix!
