Why HP and Microsoft dont resolve crash on closing Word 2007 yet?

Hi,

I dont understand why HP and Microsoft dont have yet resolve the issue
happens when closing Word 2007 (crash and restart) when some of the new HP
multifonction printers are install. That issue are know since last summer.
The only way to resolve this, is to uncheck the printer as the default one.
Someone has others solutions?

We would like to know why too. But it is an HP fault. MS cannot rewrite the
drivers for HP.

You are right, it's not the Microsoft fault. But I hope Microsoft can help
HP to resolve this issue.

Hi Terry,

I just spend an hour on the chat of the HP support with a technician. At the
end, He can't resolve this issue and He said that was probaly a Microsoft
problem. lol

Yeah, HP doesn't really seem to care at all. I sent about 8 e-mails back and
forth and spent 3 hours on the phone with some British guy who had the
thickest accent in the world, and the answer I finally got with a top-level
technician was "go to support.microsoft.com and report the problem. There is
nothing wrong with the HP product."
