Why I can´t open older nnn.vsd file anymore?

My MS Visio version is MS Visio Professional 2002 SP-2.
I can´t open older Vision files (.vsd) anymore. Now I get this kind of
message every time when I try to open with these older files: This file
cannot be opened bacause it was created with a newer or unrecognized version
of Visio. For Visio upgrade information, visit http://www.microsoft...
It might be so that I have done some download jobs concerning Visio after I
have made those older files... but I´m not sure or don´t remember.
What shoud I do or download now that I can open those files again?
Please help this amateur !

Each version of Visio can open files from any older version. Based on the
error message below, you are trying to open a newer Visio 2003 file in Visio
2002. You need Visio 2003 in this case. If you just want to view the
files, there is a Visio 2003 Viewer available for free download.
