Why is a graphic file embedding itself into my HTML Outlook email.

A couple of weeks ago a recipitant of an Outlook mail told me I had sent an
attachment which he could not read - I said there was not attachment! On
checking I have found that my HTML mails are embedding what is my company
logo as .jpg files but with the name image001.jpg. This I thought had
something to do with our website but i cannot understand the connection as I
have not programmed anything to do this and there do not seem to be any
settings in Outlook that have been changed. I have run several anti virus
programs including the latest Norton and nothing has been found

Help!
