Why is a newly created custom field w/lookup table not showing up inthe OLAP field list?

I created a new Project level custom field with drop down picklist,
populated values within a few projects, changed the database name in
the OLAP build settings (e.g, bump to OLAP5 from OLAP4) and submitted
a job to build the cubes on demand. Then I created a new Data
Analysis view pointing to the new database.

The OLAP job was successful, however I cannot find the new custom
field in the field list? Is there something I'm missing or am I
losing it? :)

Thanks,

Andy you need to assochiate the newly created custom field to your cube. Go
to Server Settings > under the cube section select configuration and ensure
that your newly created customfield is in the field of "selected dimensions"
Rebuild your cube and you should see the newly created dimension in the data
anysler. Please note you will need to have values in a project and the
project will need to be published. Also if the custom fiel is a multiselect
custom field you are not able to associate it to the cube.

I hope this does the trick :)

Thanks Marc. I actually found that after I had posted this question
to the newsgroup. It had been a while since I had done any
associations and had just forgotten about it.
