Why is availiability in resource center incorrect?

U

Uhhhhhhh

I have a resource that is not assignned to any projects. This resource is
running off the same calendar that everyone else runs off of and I have the
availiability for this resource set for 4/2005 until 12/2005. And remember
she is not assignned to any projects but when I go into the resource center
she only shows availiability for may thru june. All the other months after
june show as unavailiable and the resource center says Warning: availiability
data has not been published for one or more resources. But I have saved the
resource pool so that it is published. Why would this be happening. Is there
something else that I need to do besides saving the resource pool to show a
person's availiability.

The availability information in the Resource Center is set by the Project
Server administrator in the settings OLAP cube. It sounds like he/she as
set the availability information only through June. Ask him/her to extend
the resource availability settings further into the future by doing the
following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Manage enterprise features
3. In the Date range for resource availability section, set a date range
further into the future
4. Click the Save Settings button

Hope this helps.

Uhhhhhhh

We have not gotten the olap cube to connect properly to the remote SQL as of
yet. So will that affect what is seen for resource availibility in the
resource center. Because I changed what you said and the resource center is
still saying:
Warning: Availability data has not been published for one or more resources
in the selected date range.

The resource availability data won't change until the next scheduled build
of the OLAP cube. Hope this helps.

Resource availability runs off of the OLAP cube setting in the "Date
range for resource availability" section.

You have to set it to the date range you want of all resources and then
successfully run the OLAP cube. Beginning of the year to the end of
the year is usually a good date range.
